where dentistry & art meet
Dr. Faryl Hart has been a dentist for over 30 years. She was inspired to be a dentist while on a cross-country move from Garden Grove, California to Tampa, Florida. It was about in Texas that her Mom got a bad toothache. Imagine traveling with her dog, Topaz, and her mom in that horrible pain. Three more days had to pass until she was able to see a dentist in Tampa, Florida. Once her Mom returned from Dr. Cogsbill’s office she was out of pain. Wow! Dr. Hart wanted to be able to help others like he helped her mom.
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about 2 months ago. After having impressions done, I received my SomnoMed oral sleep appliance 15 days ago. I felt a difference after the first night. For the past 5 years, I have been waking up tired, with a headache, and feeling un-energetic most of the day. This was very contrary to my first 35 years of life. I now know that this is due to low oxygen saturation and because my body could not get into REM sleep due to waking up so many times at night when I would stop breathing. After the first 2 weeks, I wake up feeling better rested, no headaches at all since I started and I am not getting tired during the day! I made my first adjustment last night. So, I realize that all things will only get better from here! I am excited to wake up even more well- rested and to have more energy throughout the day. Dr. Hart and Melanie have been a blessing to work with. Their knowledge of the process from the sleep study, impressions and maintenance and care, to billing have made everything a breeze. I work in the fire department with many guys who I suspect of having sleep apnea and I am recommending them to come to Dr. Hart to beging the process of having the sleep study done, and to push for getting the SomnoMed oral sleep apnea appliance. This device is changing my like back to what it used to be!!

As a person with a strong dental phobia, I found it necessary to find someone who was sympathetic to me dental needs with a high level of compassion. From the moment I entered Dr. Hart’s office, I was made to feel welcome and could tell this was truly a first class dental office. Everyone provided a sincere, comfortable and professional approach to my oral health. Needless, to say a few years later I look forward to my dental visits, my dental needs have far surpassed whatever I expected. I could not love the staff, nor my dentist, Dr. Hart, any more than I can my own family

This office is like my family! I always look forward to catching up with everyone. I’m a little bit of a sensitive patient but they handle that with ease and make me laugh with multiple instruments/hands in your mouth. This is the place for me !!!

I was lucky enough not to need braces like a lot of my friends and school chums growing up. But around the age of 9 or 10 I broke an upper incisor due to faulty bicycle brakes and a stretch of unforgiving pavement. After several years of having a discolored tooth I grew used to it and it was no big deal until I had the opportunity to think about Lumineers. Needless to say, it changed my LIFE!! After two days in the dentist chair with Dr. Hart (my fairy godmother!!) my teeth were perfect. And these trips were VERY short. One time to get a molding of my teeth maybe about 15 minutes? And then more time to get the Lumineers on, about 1 hour. Painless and no surgery was needed. These things are so thin…they literally fit right over my teeth and with no grinding or pulling. So easy and quick. The impact was immediate. Friends and family noticed my increased confidence and my new PERFECT WHITE SMILE! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hart for many years, and have always found her and the staff to be extremely friendly and professional. They explain everything clearly, and are most considerate in putting me a ease and making me comfortable. I highly recommend them

I met Alison in my salon. She told me that she worked for the best dentist. I have been scared to death about going to the dentist since I had an unfortunate experience at my dentist’s office. Alison assured me that they would take care of me. I made the appointment and low and behold…not scary! They were so professional and personal. It didn’t hurt. It REALLY didn’t hurt in the office. Good ahead … give them try!

First of all, Dr. Hart is a wonderful dentist and her staff is beyond reproach. I always disliked going to the dentist but my husband had been going to Dr. Hart for many years and had nothing but praise for her. I started going to Dr. Hart about 20 years ago and found out how a caring dentist can take the scare out of going. When she gives you a shot you hardly feel anything because she is so gentle. She also lets you know what she going to do as she continues to work away. If you are having a problem, they are always there for you. I would highly recommend Dr. Hart to anyone who needs a dentist or is looking for a new one.

Dear future patient of Dr. Hart, I am writing this letter, testimonial actually, to tell you from my personal experience, about the dental practice of Dr. Hart. I believe it is important for everyone to understand that Dr. Hart’s dental practice is unlike any other. I have been a patient of Dr. Hart’s for almost 20 years. Prior to seeing Dr. Hart I had neglected my oral health. The reason for my neglect was due to my intense anxiety, dentist phobia. I had actually been into a dentist office for an appointment and left without ever seeing the dentist or hygienist. I would break out in a cold sweat, my entire body would tremble, and I would feel like I needed to run. Yes, I suffered horrible dentist phobia. One day I was talking with my mother on the phone and I was telling her about the bleeding that had become so severe every time that I brushed my teeth and she told me about Dr. Hart. I was hoping that she would give me an old-fashioned remedy like rinsing my mouth out with salt water. I would have washed my mouth out with soap at this point. Anyway, my mother gave me Dr. Hart’s phone number and told me where her office was. I made an appointment and had to ask my mother to go with me, because I was so terrified. As my mother and I walked into Dr. Hart’s office I broke out in my usual cold sweat and started to shake. My mother assured me that everything would be alright because she was there. Now, can you just picture this, a grown man in his 20s having to be reassured by his mother that my visit with Dr. Hart would not be that bad? After many visits to Dr. Hart’s office I felt much more at ease. She never hurt me and as my gums continued to improve, the cleaning were of short duration and intensity. However, there was one tooth that could not be saved. It became very infected and I did my usual. I neglected it. For a couple of months I walked around in pain but one day a big lump appeared on my cheek, so I call Dr. Hart’s office and made an appointment, after I had called my mother of course. Well again, I was scared to death because I knew the tooth would have to be removed. It was making me very sick at this point, so I knew I had no choice and thank God my mother was able to go with me. Dr. Hart wiggled that tooth out and there was no pain at all. Now, it was not an easy job for her, but it was because of my fear. I spent well over an hour in her office just to have one tooth pulled because she would not proceed until I was ready and comfortable. I can honestly say that I enjoy my visits to Dr. Hart’s office. When I or anyone else enters Dr. Hart’s office you can expect to be greeted by a dental health professionals with great personalities, stories to tell, to laugh about and you will feel a sense of warmth and comfort. In Dr. Hart’s office you are not just another patient, you are an individual person and they specialize in taking care of individual people, not patients. Proper oral health is more important than ever. Bacteria growing in the gum can eventually make their ugly way to the blood stream. Scientific research has shown a direct correlation between build- up of plaque in the arteries and a build-up plaque on your teeth. So, please be smart, call Dr. Hart. Don’t delay, call today and keep your heart and teeth smiling.
